Teaching the Shire to drive, one lesson at a time
I started Uncle Sam Driver Training because I was tired of seeing learners get rushed, talked down to, or handed a generic lesson plan that had nothing to do with their actual test route. Every learner is different. Some need more time on roundabouts, some need to build confidence merging on the Princes Highway, and some just need someone calm in the passenger seat while they figure it out.
I've spent years teaching learners across Sutherland, Barden Ridge, Menai, Miranda and everywhere in between, and I still get a genuine kick out of watching a nervous first-timer turn into a confident, test-ready driver. No shortcuts, no scare tactics, just clear instruction, honest feedback, and a plan that actually gets you to your test in good shape.
Outside of lessons, you'll usually find me either topping up the car's fuel for tomorrow's bookings or double-checking a student's logbook so nothing holds up their test date. It's a one-person operation by choice. You'll always get the same instructor, the same car, and someone who actually remembers where you left off last lesson.
